Lassociazione is a band folk–rock born in 2009 by the meeting of Marco Cilloni (songwriter, voice and guitar), Giorgio Riccardo Galassi (writer) e Gigi Cavalli Cocchi (guitarist of Ligabue, C.S.I. and Clan Destino).
Trained in the Reggiano Apennines, since its inception, the project has made inroads in the heart of a large audience that recognized itself in the songs where we talk about people and stories that testify the culture and the values of their land.
The group thanks to the attention it has dedicated to the story of the “civiltà dell’Appennino” and the work of recovery of the dialects of the ridge (used together with the Italian language) has earned recognition as representative of the artistic heritage-local cultural, to achieve the entry of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines in the network MaB Unesco.
