L’essenza
“This record is dedicated to our friend Luciano Ghezzi, companion of a thousand musical adventures. We found ourselves united around this painful and sudden absence and realized that we still had work to do, still music to play. We owed it to Ghezzi, with whom we had grown up and shared our dreams since the dawn of our musical passion, we owed it to ourselves as musicians and as men. We owed it to everyone who in the long years of silence always supported and loved us. So, in 2021, after more than 25 years since our real last album, we embarked on this breathless journey inside ourselves, in touch with our essence, human and artistic, and this is the result. “The Essence” has become the new Clan Destino record, and we have the certainty that Ghezzi was always there with us.” The record was recorded and mixed at Zoo studio in Correggio (RE) by Lenny Ligabue.
